For locksmiths, plumbers, carpenters, painters, electricians…
Your trusty work notebook, now on your phone and powered by AI.
A customer calls or the insurer sends you a job: tap RECORD ORDER and tell Binnacle about it. If it comes in by email or WhatsApp, paste it and you're done. Customer, address, job, what you charge and what you're owed, without typing a word.

How it works
Three steps, none of them on a keyboard
Binnacle is built to log the order the moment it comes in, with the phone to your ear or from the van, and to close it when you get paid.
- 1
The order comes in: tap and dictate
When a customer calls or the insurer sends it over: “Order for Martha Gill at twelve High Street, leak under the kitchen sink, one hundred and twenty plus VAT”. If it arrives by email or WhatsApp, paste it and Binnacle reads it.
- 2
Check the form and assign it
The AI has separated customer, address, job, claim number and amount. Fix whatever you like, choose who does it (you or a technician) and confirm.
- 3
Do the job, get paid, close it
When you get paid, close the order by voice or with a tap: amount, payment method and who collected. Profit, VAT and income tax for the month update on their own.
Features
Everything you used to jot down in the notebook, and the things you never had time to
Orders by voice or pasted in
Dictate the order when they call, the way you'd tell a workmate. Or paste the customer's WhatsApp or the insurer's email: the AI fills in the form and you just confirm.
Unpaid jobs at a glance
Every order carries its tag: active, pending payment or closed. What you're owed no longer gets lost in a notebook.
VAT and income tax worked out for you
Enter the net amount and Binnacle breaks down the VAT charged, the VAT paid on materials and an estimate of the income tax (IRPF) due each quarter.
Technicians and clear accounts
Add the people you work with, assign them orders and keep track of who collected from the customer, who paid for materials and how much each one gets. The settlement goes out by WhatsApp.
Providers and insurers
Save the claim number and the provider who sends you the work. You'll know how much each one brings in.
Call, navigate, export
From the order you call the customer, open the map or send a WhatsApp. And your whole history exports to Excel whenever your accountant asks for it.

Technicians
Settling up with your technicians, without the back-and-forth
Binnacle keeps a running balance per technician: what you owe them in commission and materials, and what they have collected from customers on your behalf. Everything is worked out from the orders themselves.
- 1
Set their commission
Every technician has a percentage. Binnacle applies it to each paid order they did: (price − materials) × %. A specific order can also carry a fixed amount.
- 2
Say who handled the money
When you close an order, say whether the technician collected the payment or paid for the materials. Those amounts go straight into their balance.
- 3
Check the balance and send it
The technician's screen shows what you owe them, or what they owe you, for any date range. One tap sends the full breakdown by WhatsApp.
- 4
Mark it as settled
Once you have paid up, mark each order as settled. It drops out of the balance and stays in the list with a green check.

FAQ
What people ask us before they start
Do I have to learn how to use a program?+
No. You press the big RECORD ORDER button and talk. The form fills itself in and you check it before saving. If the order arrives by email or WhatsApp, copy it, press PASTE and Binnacle turns it into a form just the same.
What happens to my voice?+
The audio is processed in real time to turn it into data and is not stored. The details are in the privacy policy.
Are the VAT and income tax figures valid for the tax office?+
They are indicative: they tell you how much to set aside each quarter. Your accountant still files the returns, and for that you can export everything to Excel.
Does it work if I have technicians working with me?+
Yes. Add your technicians, assign them orders, set a fixed commission or a percentage and note on each order who collected from the customer and who paid for materials. The settlement for the period comes out on its own and you send it by WhatsApp.
Do I need an internet connection?+
Yes, for voice dictation and to sync your data. The app keeps a local copy so opening it is instant.
How do I cancel the subscription?+
From the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play account, at any time. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
Can I delete my account and my data?+
Yes, from Settings → Account → Delete account, instantly. You can also request it from the delete account page on this website.
